Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed aarti after worship at Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) temple in Abu Dhabi.

The temple is built on a land of 20,000 square meters at a place named ‘Al Wakba’ in Abu Dhabi. Al Wakba, adjacent to the highway, is about 30 minutes from Abu Dhabi. Let us tell you that according to the data of Indian Embassy, ​​about 26 lakh Indians live in UAE, which is about 30% of the population there.

The authentic ancient art and architecture has been revived through carvings in the temple. Ashok Kotecha, a spokesperson for the temple management, said the design of the master plan was completed in early 2020. Work on the historic temple is progressing with the support of the community, and leadership from India and the UAE.
