Akshay Kumar joins Boycott campaign:
At the same time, actor Akshay Kumar said that prominent leaders of Maldives made disgusting and racist comments on Indians. This is surprising. Maldives is the place where most Indians go. We treat our neighbors well, so why should we put up with this needless animosity?I have visited Maldives many times and have always admired it, but for me my dignity comes first. Let us explore the Indian islands and support our own tourism.
Came across comments from prominent public figures from Maldives passing hateful and racist comments on Indians. Surprised that they are doing this to a country that sends them the maximum number of tourists.

Statement of Maldives Ministers:
Maldives Minister Abdulla Mohjum Majeed has written that I wish Indian tourism all the best for targeting Maldives tourism, but India will face tough competition from our tourism. Our resort infrastructure alone is more than their entire infrastructure. Additionally, he also tagged PM Modi in this post.
The move is great. However, the idea of competing with us is delusional. How can they provide the service we offer? How can they be so clean? The permanent smell in the rooms will be the biggest downfall. 🤷🏻♂️ https://t.co/AzWMkcxdcf
