Sam Bahadur OTT Release: The OTT release of the film has started through the Zee 5 platform.

 

Bollywood film ‘Sam Bahadur’ based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Maneksha MC has reached OTT. Zee 5 has got the digital rights of the film. The film started airing on Cee5 last night.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the name RSVP Movies, the film stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role and features Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick, Muhammad Seeyub, and other performers. Sam Bahadur is a film that hit the theaters on December 1.

Bhavani Iyer and Shantanu Srivastava along with the director prepared the script of the film. Shankar Ehsaan Loy composes the music for the film’s songs composed by Gulzar. Sam Hormuzji Sam Bahadur Jamshedji Maneksha was the first person to hold the highest rank of Field Marshal (Army Chief) of the Indian Army. He was born on 3rd April 1914 and died on 27th June 2008.

 

attended Military Staff College in Quetta, Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, and Sherwood College in Nainital. Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Maneksha was born in Amritsar, Punjab, to Parsi parents Hormusji and Hilla Maneksha. A good student, Manek Shah wanted to go to London to study medicine like his gynecologist father.

But Hormuzji could not afford to study abroad, so he appeared for the Indian Military Academy (IMA) entrance exam. Then on October 1, 1932, he was part of the first batch of 40 cadets selected for the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.

India has seen the life of Sam Manekshaw through various stages from his fighting in Burma in the World War. The film traces the many milestones in his life and shows the history and growth of our great nation, covering the 1947 partition and accession of Kashmir, the 1962 war defeat against China and finally the 1971 war victory and the formation of Bangladesh.

 

Depicting his relationship with former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and how they worked together to defeat Pakistan, the film features Fatima Sana Shaikh as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Sanya Malhotra as Sam’s wife Siloo. Neeraj Kabi as Jawaharlal Nehru and Mohammad Seeshan Ayyub as Yahya Khan.
