Started studying at the age of 18 Siddharth was born in a Punjabi, Hindu family of Delhi. His father Sunil Airtel was in the Merchant Navy, while his mother Reema is a housewife. Siddharth’s early education took place at Don Bosco School and Naval Public School in Delhi. He received his degree from Delhi’s Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.
Siddharth started modeling at the age of 18 for pocket money. Due to good looks and excellent physique, Siddharth got a lot of success in modeling. Since she didn’t have a personal bank account at the time, she gave her mother the 7,000 rupees she received as her first modeling pay.

I never did get to see Anubhav Sinha after this episode. When I was an assistant director in ‘My Name is Khan’, Anubhav definitely came to meet me, because he had to meet Shahrukh sir. After this we never met.
Became assistant director in ‘My Name is Khan’ Siddharth was quite disappointed after Anubhav Sinha’s film got canned. After this he joined Karan Johar’s film ‘My Name is Khan’ as an assistant director. He got this opportunity because of fashion designer Manish Malhotra, because during his modeling days, Siddharth had walked the ramp in fashion shows for many designers.
Manish himself asked Karan to give work to Siddharth as an assistant director. Varun Dhawan also worked as an assistant director in this film. Siddharth had said in an interview, ‘It was becoming difficult to survive in Mumbai and then I was looking for a job. I never thought that I would become an assistant director, but I did. Life has taught me a lot.
During the filming of “My Name is Khan,” Karan Johar shared a humorous anecdote on his chat show Koffee with Karan Season 8. He had played a video message from filmmaker Karan Malhotra in which it was revealed that Varun and Siddharth used to flirt a lot with the girls of the costume department during the shooting.
With the movie, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt also made their debuts.Siddharth played the role of Abhimanyu Singh in it. The movie was a success, grossing Rs 109 crore at the box office.Its budget was 7 crores. For this, Siddharth also received a nomination in the Filmfare Best Debut Male category.

After marriage, Kiara and Siddharth shifted to a sea-facing apartment in Juhu, Mumbai. The interior of this house has been designed by Shahrukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan.
